We are English speakers, but where able to communicate will with the Spanish speaking staff. The check in went smoothly, and the gentleman who set up our room also helped me carry in our bags. At first, the room AC stopped working after the gentleman finished setting it up. I asked him to return the room to address the issue. He worked with the AC and the remote thermostat for several minutes. At one point I suggested we go to another room. He counseled patience and moments later, the AC turned on, stayed on, and was nicely cold. He did a wonderful job. We travelled with two dogs, and there were adequate places for them walk. We ordered dinner from the menu in the on-premises restaurant for a very reasonable price and was delivered to our room. The food was good. Breakfast was eaten in the dining room after giving your order to the waitstaff. She brought food quickly which was hot and good. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. We experienced no issues or problems during our stay.

The room was very nice and clean. The bed was excellent. The indoor pool bonus awesome! ALSO THE STAFF - WONDERFUL! We had a tire going flat in the parking lot. Our Spanish is ok, but this is not an expat town and locals don't speak English. First of all, we couldn't get our flat off the car - got the lugs off ok but the tire was not coming loose, we needed a big crowbar or hammer. So we needed someone to at least help with that so we could put the donut tire on and go to a tire shop. But the front desk person said, oh I have a friend, he can come. I asked if he could fix the tire, he said yes. So I didn't know what to expect, but in less than an hour, here comes a Mobile Mechanic - got the tire off, manually separated it from the wheel, did a great plug/patch job, back on, aired up and ready to go. Just like everyone we've met in Mexico - efficient, helpful, and polite. Also the front desk will help you order food if your Spanish is weak!

We stayed at this hotel on the way to our new home 8 hours further south. Our cat escaped from our vehicle on checkout and we thought that we had lost her forever.. When we called the hotel a member of their staff had discovered her and offered to take her home with them for the evening to care for her. We drove 8 hours back the following day to pick her up. We stayed another night. We are so incredibly impressed by kind, helpful staff. Breakfast was complimentary with our stay and we were incredibly impressed by the quality, fresh home cooked meal. Not plastic wrapped, pre made continental breakfast.

Location was great and staff were super helpful. Includes a buffet breakfast which was the best so far traveling through the US down into Mexico. Plus the restaurant on site offers dining for dinner as well. Both of our meals were fantastic and service was great! Definitely will stay there again!
